The blend also enjoyed three years of additional maturation in Pedro Ximénez puncheons, Oloroso puncheons, and Appalachian virgin oak casks. The name comes from a blended whisky brand that was discontinued back in the 1980s, which was acquired by The GlenAllachie Distillers Company in 2017.
