Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Portobello Road, Special Reserve 101 is a limited edition release from the London-based distillery. This London dry gin is made with a base of potato spirit which was rested in oak before distillation, for a touch of oak softness without the colour. The classic Portobello Road botanicals have been given a tweak here too, using 50% more juniper and doubling the maceration time. The result is a gin with a whole load of, well, 'gin-ness', that holds its own in a G&T, and makes a cracking Martini of course.
